Your provisional license turns back into a 30-day instruction permit, meaning you can no longer drive alone and must be accompanied by your folks again for another 30 days. One more ticket and you will be facing a one year suspension of your license. So long as both of these are one point violations, you can avoid this if you're found eligible for traffic school on either one of them. (See California Vehicle Code section 12814.6.) http://www.dmv.ca.gov/dl/vioptct.htm

*/End of Line.

Probably you get to not drive for a while - which is a good thing for the rest of us. Driving is a privilege to be earned - not a right - you'll soon understand that.

It could be decided that you are not considered a good enough driver to deserve a license. It can be suspended.

I don't think it is a good thing to happen and neither will your insurance company.
