Some of those make me feel as if, well do you remember what it feels like when you got drunk off your butt as a kid and the next day you did not feel good from the previous nights poisoning?

That feeling, and that is one reason I quit drinking alcohol, then get it when I take cold medicine :0(

I think you sound like you have chronic fatigue or M.E. You should keep a diary of how you are feeling each day and explain all this to your doctor. Your doctor should be able to refer you to a support network and figure out how to give you some help. You really need to talk to someone, carrying around worries in your head is going to drain you of any little energy you have left. Life is worth living, you may not feel like that right not but I know a lot of people fighting cancer who would definitely change your mind. Suicide is such a waste of life and something that families and friends never recover from so I hope this is not what you are hinting at. Do the things you have always thought about doing but have never got around to. Grab life by the collar and say NO, I will not let the way I am feeling stop me. Life is what you make it. You can make the difference.....don't wait for a miracle.

Believe it or not, it can make someone feel either way. For the most part, cold medicines will make someone tired. There are people out there that are just the opposite and they are wired.
