As a salaried employee, how can I prove hours spent above 40 on the job since I don't punch a clock?

Doing field service - leaving early, returning late, paperwork at night, weekend calls, phone calls, etc.

Salaried, usually no OT so who cares. If you're non-exempt, OT eligible, then phone records, notes. Customer sign-offs with date/time if allowed. You should keep a time sheet and punch yourself in and out. Turn in a copy to your boss, keep a copy for yourself.

Keep records of the time you work. If you are classified as exempt, then it doesn't matter.
