Yes, I was on a boat once. It was a beautiful summer eveing, just as the dusk was falling upon the water and we were out in a ChrisCraft with a inboard 285 hp Mercruiser engine just throttling it as hard as it would go when all of a sudden we were in the line of a slow moving catamaran.
There was no way we could avoid hitting it and we did, slicing through the center of the 'cat and directly into the path of about 12 people who were celebrating a birthday party.
We hit the catamaran at an estimated 56 mph and obliterated both vessels. I was thrown approximately 75 feet and landed on the water back first. One of the catamaran riders was decapitated and the whole thing happened as if it were in slow motion.
