To the Texas hill country. I would rent a house for a week or so, up on a hillside, with all the amenities. It would need to have a fireplace outside, a lap pool, and a wonderful bed with down pillows and soft sheets and ceiling to floor windows. I would take my most comfortable clothes, and hike and swim and talk to no one. I wouldn't take my cell phone and I wouldn't tell anyone where I was going. I would enjoy good wine and good books and I would rest and meditate and pray. I would watch the sun rise with a good cup of strong black coffee. I would sit outside at night by the fireplace to watch the shooting stars. I would feed the deer from my hand and I would ride a gentle horse along the ridges. I would fish in the river and fry it up for dinner. I would pick the wildflowers and make a wreath for my hair and I would listen to old Willie Nelson songs. I would play Mozart on the piano. I would smoke cigarettes and drink Jack Daniels with just a splash of water. I would dream and I would heal. And I might just never leave.....

Into my plant room.
Running away is reserved for those who have no responsibilities such as family or ethics/morals.
When kids are all grown maybe the Mr. and I will run away together!! Spend every cent of the kids inheritance LOL!!

To our house in South Carolina.. my cousin is there right now. I could use a nice break but its kinda hard to run away when your in a leg brace and on crutches :(

A hotel; in some states if you are being abused you can seek shelter in a hotel while you are seeking help. If you are a teenager, they cannot refuse you a room if you are there to get away from violence; but you have to report the violence.
