I'm "engaged" to my girlfriend of 5 years. She was my first, I met her when I was 16, I'm now 21. I met someone around the same time as her, and immediatly developed a HUGE crush on her. It so crazy, I don't even know if she likes women. I haven't had much contact with her lately, but not a day goes by that I don't think about her, just a little. I do love my girlfriend, but sometimes I think I stay with her because of how much she loves me, and I fear that someone will never love me like that again. But this other women, I always had a feeling from her there was more than friendship. She always would look into my eyes when we spoke, and find reasons to touch my hand when she said something to me, play with my hair, maybe I read too much into it... I never made a move, I was too shy, part of me regrets it. Any advice would be appreciated...

Sorry if the grammer is shitty, I wrote it fast.

I would never cheat on my current gf... If there was something to ever happen I would have the decency to tell her the truth..

I agree with the other responses, this new trend of marrying young isn't beneficial at all, you'll grow to resent her because you didn't go for something that you wanted. Maybe discuss just taking a break, meet new people, and see what happens. If later you guys decide you really were meant for each other, then you'll know.

I think if you even have the slightest hint of real feelings for someone else, It is totally unfair to keep an engagement with someone else. Do not deceive her. Most people value their first loves for their entire lives, and never ever forget them. But most of the time, people try to keep it going for too long. Don't ride it til the wheels fall off and ruin a friendship with someone you love. Be honest and let it go if need be. Everything happens for a reason. There are too many cheaters in this world.... DOnt be another one.

Do you have a green card? Does Don own a house, a car, etc. Guys like the one at work are a dime a dozen. If you look closer the 24 year old has nothing to offer you. He probably still lives with his parents. Don't ruin your life for some foolish infatuation. Look at the bright side. Don will be dead in a few years just make sure you have plenty of life insurance on him and feed him lots of Pork. When Don is gone you will still be a vibrant young lady. Just be patient and stay in shape.

funny thing i know what you mean, i was in a spot like that myself.
my theory in life is " you never know until you ask!"
is the likeing for this other person a crush or love.
are you going to ruin something for a fling or crush with this other person.
mostly you have to be honest with your self and fair to the others involved.
dont play with heart strings as yours will be broken in the end too.

Your only young, why rush a committment? Forever is a long time. Cancel your engagement till you have sorted out what your want.

Wow. You can't fall in love with every person who looks you in the eye when they speak to you. I think you should figure out what's important to you - lasting love or fleeting attraction?
