I'm taking an American Indian class and not doing so hot. If calculations are correct, I'm getting a D. I'm supposed to graduate in December, so it will stink if I fail this class. What is the lowest possible grade you can get and still pass a class?? (at a university)

D is for diploma ☺

honestly - a D is a passing grade in a non-major or non-prerequisite course. If the course is in your major or is a pre-requisite for another course then it is passing (counts as credit) but doesn't meet the requirement (will have to be repeated).

Ordinarily, say you take English 101 and get a D, you have passed and get 3 credits and a 1.0 GPA but you can't take Eng102 until you raise that grade to a C (retake the class).

Some schools allow a repeat for replacement (the old grade goes away) but most don't.

It was that F meant failure, no longer passing. D meant you acquire by using by using the exterior of your enamel. D+ in all possibility skill they did no longer choose for to grade on a curve (actual it truly is close to to a C- meaning passing yet particularly). Biology is a call for in severe college so which you will ought to bypass it to graduate. in case you have a low grade in severe college then you definitely would be having a concern getting by using first year at school in case you planned that through fact Biology there is plenty harder, they'd desire to grade on the curve and a few do no longer bypass it (freshman year a hundred and one classification). So in case you propose on college ask what option there is to Biology and take that extremely.

At most universities in the states a D is passing as long as the class isn't for your major.

It depends on the school and the program. Many professional programs require you to have a C or even a B (such as nursing).

Fail doesn't have a D

it depends on what school you go to...........there r many schools that do not except a D...........Go to your counselor........you have enough time to bring the D up to a C.....Hit those books and study.....................That class should be easy..............
