My sink is clogged with something but I have no clue what it is. Do you have any suggestions on how to unclog it (short of calling the plumber)? The water in it just goes down super sloooowwwlyyyyyyy. I tried boiling water, but it didn't work. Someone also said to try a plunger, but that got me nowhere except for now there's tiny pieces of poop floating in my sink! lol. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I literally JUST went thru this, ending with unfortunately a plumber today. I bought lots of diff products, most helped a LITTLE, but within a few days it was super slow draining again. Then yesterday in desperation I bought sulfuric acid (sold with the other drain cleaning products) and it did NOTHING for the clog, but ate the finish off my sink. Ug. SO i bought the bullet and called the plumber today and its all clean again. The plumber recommended that, to prevent this in the future, to put in some enzyme cleaner down the drain once a month to keep it clear of buildup. I was bummed to have to pay the plumber $105 today, but after I started thinking about how many $12 bottles ( and up) of draino-type stuff I had already spent I wished I had just called the plumber to begin with!

I assume it's your bathroom sink... I went through this a few days ago. Your bathtub or shower which ever you have tie into the same drain. Make sure you plug up that drain hole along with plugging up your toilet and then use the plunger. If all else fails your only last resort is a plumber I hope this helps you!
If this works after you are done let the hot water run and pour dish washing liquid down the drain like almost a half a bottle. That will help anything that may trapped along with grease go down.(I saw the plumber do that last time he unclogged ours)
Good Luck!

try the plunger again but this time cover the air vent hole with your finger. this is a hole that is attached to the drain itself. usually its a hole in the bowl of your sink that also keeps your sink from overflowing. put a finger in it and plunge away. it may take awhile but it is cheaper than a plumber

In my experiences, the blockage has been a buildup of black greasy muck in the "S" bend under the sink. - Solution - (for me) was to undo the screw units, remove the s bend and clean it out (I used a water blaster I had) - Made it nice and clean. Remember to have a bucket or wide basin under it when you undo it cos you're going to get water (about a cup full) fall out.
Not hard to do. Have fun.
