I dunno if this is supposed to happen or not but I can't seem to have my Internet on and my PS3's online running at the same time. If I'm using my PS3 online then my laptop wont get a wireless signal, and vise versa. Also when I go on my laptop, then I have to unplug and replug my router to get my PS3 to work once I put my laptop to sleep....Thats not normal right? Any suggestions?

When I first used my PS3 online, then a message came up on my laptop saying Conflicting IP address...or something.

Sounds like you are setting up both your PC's TCP/IP settings to the same IP address as you set on the PS3.
Just go into the PS3 and add one number to the last set of digits in the IP address . e.g. 192.168.1.101 - change to 192.168.1.102 or set PC and PS3 to "obtain IP address automatically.

The ps3 has wifi. yet you could desire to have your very own instant hub (router) oftentimes provided by making use of your internet provider provider which transmitt the internet sign to the ps3 wifi as a fashion to apply the WIFI. some human beings life in Hotspots the place the ps3 can %. up a wfif sign it is not password secure and connect that way even inspite of the undeniable fact that the guy would not have internet themselves. . or you could desire to ethernet cable to the router agian provided by making use of your internet provider provider.

Check to see if your computer or PS3 has IP settings set to Static. If not, you should't have this issue.

I hope this helps, good luck

All equipment needs to be set either to a static individual address or they must all get addresses from dhcp.
