Basically here's the jist of it (SORRY NO LINK)

A guy found out that his wife of 10 yrs was having an affair for a bour 5 months with some other guy who was also married. When she went on a business trip for the weekend the husband pretty much packed up the house and was gone! Cleared out his half of the bank account and the house. All she was left was her clothe in the closet and some other things. He then later (some how!) found the other man's wife and Emailed her about the affair. No info on that side.

The cheated on husband pretty much deserted his adulterous wife. Took the money and the house virtually. THEY HAD NO KIDS!!

Now some people actually critized the husband in the article.

Was he too quick to run? Should he have tried to work things out?

I personally find it fantastic!!

Well I suppose it could be construed as fair but there is never anything hilarious about a marital breakdown due to cheating.I'm sure he felt justified taking half of everything but I'm not sure if the courts would agree with his actions. What about the matrimonial home? The husband also owns half the house (or half the debt for the house). We don't know enough facts as to why the marriage broke down. You don't give any evidence he knew she was cheating or if he just suspected she was cheatingWas he a jealous husband who didn't like his wife away on business trips. .Why should he just walk away and expect an award. He also did not think there was anything to save of their marriage or he could have suggested counceling. His wife's actions(if it was fact) may have been immoral but if the husband ran away from a debt he is a criminal.

Great article to bad it wasnt a wife instead of the husband who left , only speaking from a females point of view!
That was very sensible what he did even though the dumb ***** was being unfaithful he was still man enough to give her half of everything wow how many of us would really give the other person half? I really dont think I truely would of left anything for the selffish other....

Yes men can have trust issues. My man has trust issues because of the stupid women in his past. Im pregnant and Im dying for him to ask me to get a DNA test. He knows me all too well to cheat and yet sometimes he thinks I will. Men have fears too.

I want to applaud al lthe women for backign up the man in this story. Its up to each person how they want to handle mariatl infidelity, and while his actiosn were rash, in the long run, he or she can just file a no fault and be done with it in a year or less (depending on where you live).

I don't find it hilarious but yes the husband did the right thing and he did leave her 1/2 of everything so that was O.K. Glad that they had no kids. Wife got what she deserved alright.

to be honest, i would probably do the same in that position but selfishly would have taken all the money!!!
my reason for taking all the money would be that he obviously would have paid for dinner, drinks, gifts and hotels etc from OUR account so im getting reimbursed!!!!!!!
