"Gays should be hanged, says High Ranked Iranian minister"

Homosexuals deserve to be executed or tortured and possibly both, an Iranian leader told British MPs during a private meeting at a peace conference, The Times has learned.

Mohsen Yahyavi is the highest-ranked politician to admit that Iran believes in the death penalty for homosexuality after a spate of reports that gay youths were being hanged.

I'm not saying it is a reason to go to war, but it doesn't make me feel good to know that people are getting tortured or killed because of their sexual orientation either.

Animal rights activists go nuts when an animal is beaten or tortured or killed legally like recently in Japan with whales, and yet not many people are concerned with fellow human beings that are killed for being gay? What is wrong with this picture?

It's not right. But it is also not a reason to attack a nation that has not attacked us.

We can't fix them. We have to fix us first. The US is not the world's babysitter.

Hey the man said 'We ain't got no gays, women are free and we ain't got no nukes. This is their culture, welcome to the Arab world, thought you knew that. Think about the poor girls and women that are killed as "honor" killings. It i was a gal over there I'd crrying a gun, mace and the "Eliana Bobbitt sword". Those people don't play around. Take care.

I am opposed to foreign intervention. I don't think the US has the right to force it's liberal democratic lifestyle on other cultures.
