with my in-laws....
hubby & I got trashed in front of them at a relative's wedding.... (we were in our early 20's)

I will drink with my parents sometimes, but usually smoke (cannabis) with them. The whole family does. Started doing this at age 19/20.

my mother use to let me drink from the time i was about 13 onward whenever she had her friends over she would make me a drink too. but one time when i was maybe 16 or so she got really drunk and started yelling and crying at me for no reason. she was so trashed i think she thought i was my father. it was really freaky. after that she stopped drinking in front of me and wouldnt let me drink but by then i had a fake id so i was out drinkin w/my friends all the time anyway.

My parents never got drunk and they seldom drank at all.I've known of people that have though and it is really sad. A fine way to teach your children.

I've tossed back a few with my folks, but nobody's gotten really ripped. Maybe a little sleepy, but nothing dramatic.

we haven't gotten drunk, but we have drunk, i started "drinking" around 17, but then again, we're mexican, so it's sorta normal for us
