Do you mean like one shotgun, one rifle, one handgun - or do you mean just one gun total cause theres no way that I could pick just one.
-need shotgun for deer hunting
-need handgun for safety from snakes while hiking in the woods
-need rifle for everything else

Tough question. I'd probably go with a Ruger GP100 or S&W 686, .357 Magnum w/ 4" barrel. Versatile enough yet still carryable and even concealable given a good holster & a willingness to dress around the gun.

a small pistol! lol I have my license to pack concealed and I still don't know the names of the guns! I have no idea what the name of the gun I pack is! It's small and black that's all I know!
