OMG my bad it is Jim Hearn. He was on Giants not Yankees, sorry I should of looked it up. Good awnser though.

This one is driving me nuts.

Jim Hearn fits the initials, and he played for the Phils and fought in WWII. However, he never played for the Yankees - he was a Giant.

No problem - I'm just glad I wasn't going crazy there.....that was a good question even with the wrong team.

Hank Bauer? The guy who passed away last year. I know he played for the Yankees and fought in World War 2.
