i need an interest group for my project, and the only one that i know of is the one about abortion being wrong..... but i dont wanna do my project about that, so i was hoping you guys could help me out on giving the names and details about other interest groups....

Assuming you mean special interest groups, or lobby groups, what about AARP, or the NRA (gun lobby), also there are pharmaceutical groups that lobby for legislation that would benefit the drug companies, and there is always the NEA and other educational lobbies that seek to impose their will upon the legislators.
