Every baby is different. My son was about 8 months before he learned to crawl. My daughter was 6 months and learned to sit up, crawl, and pull up in the same week!

All babies are different. Some start early, some start late, and some skip crawling and go right to walking. My daughter is almost 8 months old and hasn't quite mastered crawling forward, but backwards is a cinch!

Usually six/seven months. That doesn't mean that some babies don't start later though. In fact, I know babies that started crawling at ten months to a year and were still developmentally on target. Usually you start looking for signs of crawling at around six months.

My daughter learned to sit at 6months and crawled around 8.5mo then walked just before her 1st b-day. But every child is different I have a friend whose son is 6mo and already crawling, but he has 2 brothers to try and keep up with!

There's a wide range of "normal." Since babies don't sleep on their tummies anymore because of the risk of SIDS, babies tend to crawl later now than they did in the past. I'd say the average range is anywhere from 6 to 10 months. My son started "army crawling" around 7 months, and on hands and knees at 7 1/2 months. I know a lot of babies who crawled later than him, and others who crawled a lot earlier than him. Does your little girl sit up independently? Can she roll over from front to back, and push up on all fours? Those are just some things to look for before she crawls. If she doesn't take off soon, don't worry! She'll get there when she's ready. My son took off like crazy when it came to cognitive and speech/language development, but took his time physically. It seemed like it would take him forever to master a physical skill, but then once he got it, he got it all at once. For instance, he went from just pushing up on all fours for a month to crawling all over the house in a day; with his first steps, it seemed like he stood and cruised FOREVER before just taking off. Just enjoy her - there will come a day when you wish she would stay in one place! Have fun!

it depends on the child my (first)daughter crawled at around 8 months then my 2nd, son crawled at 6 months and my 3rd at 6 months i think it depends my sons already had a Sib they would want to try to keep up with so they tryed harder to complete that skill.

I would have to say about 6mo and up. My daughter started crawling around 6mo but my son was lazy and didn't start offically crawling around until about 10mo. Depends on the child.
