I have several friends here that I always e-mail.
I go to The Tigers website everyday.
I also have a DVD about teh 2006 season that I like to watch from time to time.
There is also a Tigers Caravan that is usually in January.
Go to The Tigers website (tigers.com) and keep up with everything.
And I have started a countdown to Opening day.
I also cope by keeping up with what is going on at the winter meetings and MLB's hot stove.

I am a Browns fan as well as an Indians fan so that keeps me occupied. If one is not breaking my heart I can always rely on the other one to break it so I am never bored. I routinely check for any and all information on the Cleveland Indians. When they break my heart, I promise myself and everyone around me that this time I am totally through with the Indians but then again, promises are meant to be broken at times, right? Oh yea, I go to Grady Sizemore's website, too, as well as the Indians website. Yahoo sports! Anything to read a blip on my Indians. Also - we have the CC Sabathia situation - the Indians supposedly drawing up a contract proposal and they'd like to sign him prior to spring training and since CC is a very big deal to our team, it keeps the team very interesting in the offseason. Even when there is a foot of snow on the ground, they still have the ability to break my heart....let's hope for a pain free winter!

You run an organization where you have to gather up your players for a Thanksgiving Day parade, then get ready for recruiting, sign-ups, field allocations and all of the other stresses that go with getting ready for another baseball season before Spring Training in March. Season starts in April. Making sure the kids have enough equipment, gloves, cleats, etc. Look for sponsorships to help pay for uniforms and other expenses. Think of ideas to raise money and fun activities for the kids.
The World Series in the Major Leagues is the END of my vacation!

It's not so bad for me right now. I thought I'd really go crazy for the game once we got snow, but it hasn't been that bad. I'm still excited about the Hot Stove stuff, but it's tough to miss the game itself all that much when you have to think about your kids getting into winter sports. Lots of skating, snowmobiling, etc. up here through the winter months, especially since the river is already starting to freeze.
When it hits -30 or -40 in January and doesn't get above -25 for three weeks, then I'll be dreaming about spring training getting started again.

I feel your pain! I miss baseball season SO much.
Try watching clips of your teams past games on their website. Look at their site daily. Try watching football or hockey...they can be really interesting if you watch it with a big football or hockey fan! See what's happening in your teams off-season. I subscribed to MLB so I could watch full Red Sox games. That's how much I missed it!
April will be here soon, don't worry=)

Well I'm actually currently watching clips on MLB.com of great plays made by my guys. Sad, I know. Plus, I'm peeking at the tentative schedule and deciding what games I'm going to go to next year. Rumors and free agent frenzy keep me busy too. Some friends and I are planning a trip out to Arizona to watch the Cubbies' spring training so that'll get me in even earlier in March.
Other than that, I feel your pain.

the off season is impossibly hard, just look online everyday for as much baseball news as you can find, keep an eye on your teams official website, get baseball cards, look up old stats, anything baseball related you can possibly find to occupy your mind
in a few months (february) pitchers and catchers start reporting to spring training and the wait will finally be over

Woofy, you've been bitten by the MLB bug for sure. Keep up on the happenings in the free agent market. Read blogs. Also, feed your' spiritual life. "Man cannot live by baseball alone"...Read the Bible. I've found that the Bible and MLB can both be very absorbing.
