I have a 6-month old girl. Is it me, or are things like car seats and ESPECIALLY strollers freaking ridiculous with how hard they are to fold or strap-in? Do they really need to make them THAT hard to fold or buckle?

And don't get me started on the clothes. Anything more complicated than a sleeper with snaps running straight down the middle gets chunked. No fussy overalls w/straps for us. My girl hates it almost as much as I do.

Thankfully, our car seat has one set of straps and one buckle. That's it. We got lucky with an easy stroller, too, the last one we had was too difficult to fold & it now looks like The Terminator got a hold of it.

Also, our 6-mo old lately seems to start acting fussy if she sees me eating anything even if I just fed her. We feed her baby cereal. Do 6-month olds recognize and crave "real" foods? I have to admit, I get really aggravated if I'm bothered when eating, I realize it will have to be dealt with eventually but I didn't think this early. Tips?

I got used to eating cold food when my son was this age! I realized a few days before his 6 month check-up (His doctor told me to wait until 6 months for cereal because he was a preemie) that he was ready for real food. I would sit at a TV Tray and have his car seat on the floor in front of me and he would make chewing motions while watching me eat. That night I went to the store and got his rice cereal and he ate a little that night and more for breakfast the next day like a champ. Maybe your daughter is ready for her next food.

As far as the strollers go, I LOVED the Graco combonation stroller with the infant seat! Two little buttons to push and it folded right up. I could take his car seat out of the base and snap it into the stroller without waking him up. I miss those days sometimes!! He's 3 now and it is a hassle to get him buckled in sometimes.

Always check the stroller or whatever you are purchasing at the store for ease of use! If your gonna spend that much money play with it before you buy it! We took ours for a stroll around the store folded and unfolded it who knows how many times and made sure we were comfortable with it! We just didn't check it would fit in my trunk (which it just barely does!)
Clothing is personal choice I love overalls, but you have to be sure and get the ones with snaps in the bottom for changing. I gave up on sleepers with buttons when I found they had them with zippers! I can't miss a zipper but I always manage to miss a button!
Id's love to see the terminated stroller!
I think your 6mo old is ready for more food or new foods, maybe giving her something to play with or finger foods to eat while you eat would work.
