the dad is in iraq and he loves the name deshawn allen but i'm still not sure. i've read so many names i hate them all. i don't want anything too common but nothing crazy either. i grew up with at least three people in every class with the same name as me so i know how much that sucks.

I am a teacher and I have heard some really unusual ones: Deija, Zebedee, Sachin (Sashen) to name a few. There are some really good baby name websites on the internet - nice to know the meanings of names as well.
I have two boys with traditional names and had a lot of trouble picking those out, I like lots of girls names though!

The middle names are all family names, and the first names all have a connection to family names. Coby went 10 days before we could agree on a name. All three of my boys like their names, although Jake is a little more common now.

I like the name that the dad picked out! I think it is cute!
I would also suggest Keshawn. I know it sounds the same, but that's my cousin's name and I think it is adorable.
