The Celtics will have to win the championship before I give them the title of "best". But the Spurs over the last I say ten years... have been the best team. Serious question: Do the Celtics have a bench to compete with the Spurs? Don't just jump on the Celtics bandwagon just yet... Remember the Lakers with Gary Payton, Shaq, Kobe, and Karl Malone?

I've always told friends, put tim duncan on any team, and they automatically become championship contenders, who can argue that? TD is to some the best right now, he gives you consistent numbers, and nothing to gawk at either. KG would be a close second...I'm only saying that cuz KG has no rings, but I know he is a beast...best team? spurs, they play team ball, they beat you anyway you want it, you wanna run? they'll run with you, you wanna slow it down? they'll control the tempo. The suns have the most entertaining game, I'll give them that, they are the highest scoring team in the league, but they don't defend, they just try to outscore you. so what do they do when they can't score over 100? lose...the celtics are a great team, but I just don't see them holding that intensity the whole season....im just telling the truth, it happened to the mavs last year, they burned themselves out by the playoffs they were exhausted. I think if the celts do like the spurs, just lay around till the playoffs come around, and then turn up their game, they'll be good to make it to the big stage...

Boston Celtics are the best team in the league and Kevin Garnett is the best player. Tim Duncan would be a close 2nd.
