What are the measurements you are using to base your determination of the better parent? The outcome of the child? You should interview adults who grew up in a Gay household and see how well they are doing in society, and compare that to how many prison inmates were raised by Straight parents.

I do not believe, at least not statistical data from a reliable source has shown otherwise, that the gender and sexual orientation of the parent plays a role in being a good parent or not. It is base purely on how well their parenting skills are, and the love, support, and security they have to offer a child.

I can't imagine a Man who beats his wife, and as a result has to seek help at a battered wife shelter, would make a good parent. But do as I say, interview adults raised by gay ppl and see how well they are doing.

The only thing that matters is LOVE in the family. If the family consists of a man and a woman but they hate each other - then the kids will suffer. A gay family whith love is much better than a hetero family without love.

Homosexual or lesbian family are unbalanced. We offer big sister and big brother organizations for this reason. This was originally offered to families who were broken up or had a deceased party. Gays are a new problem society has to deal with. Every child need both a father and mother.
