The Connecticut River cuts through MA and has only a segment in MA, as it runs perpendicular to the length of the state. The Charles River isn't as impressive but travels through only MA. The Merrimack comes from NH, and has a segment in MA. The Concord River is in MA only but is shorter than the Charles. The Hoosatonic in the western part of the state also runs perpendicular to the state, and continues through CT. The Blackstone River is shared with Rhode Island. I'd say the Charles River.
