Maybe, if the the rest of Major League Baseball, will let him go with buying the Chicago Cubs. Will it happen, I can't say for sure, or whom will end up buying the Chicago Cubs. Expect for the fact that the Chicago Tribune will finnaly be ending thier reign as the owners of the Chicago Cubs, teams should really be owned by a person, or a group of people, and not by a newspaper company. Likely I don't know if there is anybody from the Wrigley family still living, would like to buy back the team. But I hope that whomever buys the Chicago Cubs, that they will make s/he welcome, to Chicago if they aren't from this area.

As a White Sox fan, I say I hope so! Because Cuban is a clown, and would ruin the Cubs. He would jack up prices, turn Wrigley into an advertisement, and underspend when he sees that people will come without him putting more money in to get players - basically, he will run it like a business, and winning will not be his top priority. Owners do not turn teams into winners overnight. Look at his NBA team - they have ZERO titles under him.

Since Mark Cuban is funding a film that will be used by Al Qaeda to create new terrorists, I'm not sure I could ever have anything but total disgust for anything that @$$hole ever does.
I hope the Cubs do well next year, but if Mark Cuban buys them I hope they go to last place and stay there. I was a fan, but will never be again if he's the owner.
He's a miserable excuse for a human being and is possibly going to cause the death of more of our troops because of his anti-military movie "redacted" or whatever fool name he calls it. The same goes to DePalma for directing it, but he's always hated the US, so we're used to his slime.

I think Cuban would make a great owner. But the other stodgy owners will never allow it. They can block his purchase of the team. All owners have to be approved. Someone like Cuban are not what the owners want - he will bring about change and that is the last thing they are looking for. Too bad cause he doesn't need any stinking leverage and partnership groups like most owners - he'll pay with cash.

He has his utility in for the prospect to purchase the team. If I have been a Cubs fan i might particularly choose for to have him as an proprietor, each and everything he touches turns to gold. He could be an out front proprietor and get his face interior the paper plenty yet i desire a guy it is passionate...i choose for somebody who's dedicated to putting the main suitable product he in all probability can accessible. whilst he bought the Mavericks they have been a giggling inventory of the league and now they are contenders each and every twelve months. it is all you may ask for as a fan, a minimum of be int he mixture, some bounces your way and you're a champion.

Cuban would be a Steinbrenner type owner to the extent he would be willing to spend money for a winner. He would be good for the game and Cubs fans would love him in due time.

I wouldlove to see it, it would be great for Baeball and great for the CUbs. He will spend WISELY, spend often and will make sure they have the best scouting staff in the Majors, they will be contenders every year! Every thing this guy touches turns to gold...with the exception of dancing!

He never will be the Tribune Company refuses to sell to him. Besides a crazy owner doesnt mean your team will win the world series. they dont need someone that crazy, they need a motivational speaker to teach them how not to choke in the playoffs.
