I just don't see what's so good about her? I think she's awful!

Well, speaking as an adult, I think she's a bright young girl, with a lot of potential. I do not think she is either a great actress, or singer... thought she may be both with a few years practice...
She is a wholesome influence on the very, VERY young fan-base she has aquired.
Speaking as a parent, that's ALL good...
Speaking as a female, I think she seems approachable. She would probably be someone it would be fun to have as a friend, if I were her age....
Speaking as a long-ago fan of her Daddy, I know she's been raised with a set of VALUES I can support...
Hardly ANYone at her age is either Oscar material, or Brenda Lee...
That's what makes the ones that are, so noteable.
She is neither a thug, nor a ...um... person of easy virtue...(And IF she is, she at LEAST has had the very good sense to keep it out of the tabloids, thank God!)
So, as I am not really a part of her fan-base, I can't say whether or not she's over-rated. I do know she must be doing something right! She's got a darn-sight more money and a much! bigger following than I do... smile.... }:>
Oh. I also remember when everyone said Elvis Presley wouldn't last... something about a "flash-in-the-pan"....? Ya never know....

I think she does great for a young person. All that put her down, decide, could you do better? Performing is a tough living. You know you're going to get blasted from critics. One thing for you to remember... She just set the record above anyone for sellout of her concerts.

nicely definite, i do admit she has had some sturdy songs and her coach is likewise sturdy yet, she has a scratchy voice and sounds terrible while she tries to hit a severe notice. and while she danced and singed next to a stripper pole interior the teen selection awards i think of that what she did is over rated and her action would provide a detrimental message to her youthful followers.

Being a Mom, I like her show.
Her Dad was HOT, back in the day! Wink ;-) Billy Ray Cyrus! ("Achy breaky heart"!!)
She had a show here in San Diego, last week :-)
I don't know anyone who went.

When I've seen her sing live, she lip syncs...That's just horrible. I know many, many artists lip sync these days, but come on, to me, that isn't performing. Who cares if she can sing to her record? It's embarrassing!
Not to mention, she isn't pretty. Infact, I think she's an ugly girl, if I'm honest. Is she only famous because of her dad, who was no Elvis, that's for sure!

no, its definitely not just you. iv been thinking that since she first came out. what really sucks is that people know i cant stand her so they call me hannah montana...it sucks
btw Disney channel sucks... i think Walt Disney would be soooo angry if he knew what they put his name on
