Christmas is nothing but a very sad, very lonely time for me full of a lifetime of very painful memories. Every year, I drink way to much, am very depressed and in the past, have attempted suicide. I hate Christmas. I really do.
I wish you and yours a Merry Christmas though. I'm glad it is still a Merry time for so many people.

Dude, I'm in the Christmas spirit all year long. I just save the Christmas music and movies for the end of the year when it's actually Christmas so I don't get sick of it before then. I already know I'm watching The Polar Express on Christmas Eve and I'm going to find a version of A Christmas Carol for Christmas day.
And right after Thanksgiving, the tree is going up. (I believe the Christmas season officially starts after Thanksgiving, too.) My friends all think I'm crazy for saying "I can't wait for Christmas" or "I'm so excited for Christmas" when it's October. But October is when I start thinking about it, for some reason. So then they all have to put up with me repeating lovely things about Christmas for three months, and it gets worse in December when it's Christmas month AND my birthday is ten days before Christmas. They go through h-e-double hockey sticks in December. Ha.
And I really have to get that Christmas CD from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra (sp?). I heard a song from them that they played on the radio last year, and I loved it.

I work at a radio station that plays all Christmas music on the weekends starting 11/3. We play all Christmas on the weekdays starting 11/19. I get tired of Christmas music by 12/5. I love Christmas.

I've been in the Christmas spirit since before Halloween was even over. Now would be a perfect time to go Christmas shopping, but I have to check with the person who handles my finances first. I love Christmas!

Yes, in a way after hearing endless christmas songs and then looking out my window at the sunny light and thinking that something is really messed up, it just seems like its too early kind of.. but I'm kind of working up to having a great christmas spirit, more though when it starts to snow..if it does..

Im with you, just waiting for the snow to complete the feeling putting the Christmas lights up this Sunday. My family goes all out during Christmas the inside of our house looks like Santas workshop. Seriously.

Yes, my favorite part of Christmas is thinking about all the family/friend gatherings, eating good food, opening gifts and I am so excited about the fact we just got our new home so we will have Christmas here. I have already tried talking my hubby into a tree, and we are putting up glass bulbs and stuff it's going to be fantastic. So yes, here's as star because I am definitely with you.

Not I. After Thanksgiving I'll get into Christmas. Retail has ruined everything from Labor Day until New Years.

I'm getting there. The mall here has its Christmas decorations up already and I am almost finished with my Christmas shopping. My family lives 5000 miles away so I wanted to shop for them and send their presents early to miss the rush at the post office. :)
I'm excited about Thanksgiving first though. I can't wait to cook and have a nice, festive day with my son.

Wow, YOU ARE in the christmas spirit. I love christmas, but this is WAYYY to early for all of that!!! The songs on the radio haven't even been turned on yet! There isn't any snow on the ground yet!!!!
