I really like the name Temperance! Though some say it's extreme or sounds like "temperature." That doesn't mean much. It's a beautiful name and a wonderful virtue. Katherine is a beautiful name, as well, but it is very common. I would go with Temperance. It's just a beautiful name. Good luck! =]

Katherine. Classic and beautiful. Temperance? Definitely would work better as the middle name - kids won't take too kindly to a name like that. Plus, the only middle name I can get out of Temperance would be Temp or Perry - Perry might be cool, but still... Katherine Temperance would be better.
PS Isn't Bones's name Temperance? I think she was a loner too... figures lol (though she was also a foster kid, but whatever lol).

I like Temperance and you could call her Tempie. Temperance Wick was a teenager during the Revolutionary War who dressed like a boy to fight for the new country trying to be established and to safe her family from the enemies armies.

Definately Katherine. I guess Temperance would be ok as a middle name, but it's nothing that I would use. I've never liked word or virtue names.

Katherine, but consider all the alternate ways to spell Katherine like Catherine, Catharine, Cathryn (unique, looks pretty on paper to me)
Never heard thte name Temperance before. I've heard of Tempest like the actress who played on The Cosby Show.
