i've got a winter coat from last year that i don't want to stop using, but its fabric has began to sort of 'bubble', and it's starting to look a bit crappy. a new grey scarf i bought recently has made these 'bubbles' look like snow. it looks really rubbish. how do i remove these bubbles? my coat is covered in them, i really want to avoid dishing out for a new coat again :\

any suggestions? thanks

Im exactlly sure what you mean by bubbles but if it looks anything like cottony stuff shedding from the material then you should either shave it gently with a razor or wait for holiday sales to get a nice new one.

Poet, Only if its made out of camel hair---lol. No, that would look so cool if you get snow where you live. You could look like a polar bear mated with a snowman whatever---too cool. Once again, NO, you don't!!! Just be thankful you have a winter coat; some people aren't so lucky.

If you mean it bubbles is it that the fabric goes into little balls like a used up sweater? If so why not buy a fabric shaver and shave off the balls.

Go to the thrift store or Salvation Army and get another coat.
