In The Diary of Anne Frank (the film) there's a scene between Anne Frank and Peter van Pels where they're in his room and he kisses her. I thought that entire scene was the sweetest thing I've ever seen. For anyone who has seen the film, do you know of any movie scenes (of any movie) similar to that one?

Probably not as good, but close: "The Secret Garden" when Mary and Dicken are on the swing together while Collin is taking their photo. They look into each others eyes for a long while, you can imagine that they may grow up in love together.

I haven't seen seen the Anne Frank movie btu Phantom of the Opera might be close

There are wonderful scenes with Diane Lane and Thelonius Bernard in "A Little Romance", including their kiss under the Bridge of Sighs at Sunset in Venice.
The "wedding" of Tony and Maria in "West Side Story" is really sweet, too, and their duet of "One Hand, One Heart" is so beautiful.
