Absolutely! The heart "sees" metaphysical value judgments, and transmits them to you through emotions. But the emotion you feel is connected to what ever value it is that is causing the heart to see it.
If you hurt the feelings of a loved one, that is metaphysical. The loved one is a value, his or her feelings are of value to you, your conduct toward him or her is of value to you, and the way you respond, with apology, flowers, etc, is of value to you.
The heart is the judge of how well you tend your metaphysical values.

The medievals spoke of a doctrine called the "verbum cordis", which is latin for "Word of the heart". Speaking loosely, the word of the heart' referred to an intelligible reality, at various stages of development, within humans and gained from sensory interaction with the physical world. Since the verbum cordis was formed from sensible features, the eye (or other senses) played some part in preparing for its birth and development within the person; but the verbum cordis was not itself a sensible feature, and so not visible to the mind in the way color is to the eye. Rather, the word of the heart was the fullness of intelligible being borne within the human, deriving from the brilliance of intelligible reality in which we find ourselves. The task of the human wishing to express his or her heart, then, is to practice and engage various forms of language and expression so as better to render what was visible to the heart also visible to the other senses (like the eye). These practices were grammar, logic and rhetoric, but also music and poetry. Our spoken and written words are signs that are visible to the eyes and other senses, but those signs themselves refer to the words of the heart, which are themselves aspects of the fullness of intelligible reality.

Sometimes, perhaps. But more often, the heart clouds the eyes and prevents them from seeing the full reality.

For me no, the heart FEELS while the eyes SEE and the brain is the one who INTERPRETS it, so nothing you see will be seen by the heart which is only capable of feeling......

All I know is that the eye can't see what the brain does not know.
