what is crystal meth?

Question

i know crystal meth is a drug, and i would never take it whatever it is. But i was just wondering what is it as i heard you could make it with household products??? i also heard you smoke it and trip on it or something- does anyone know what it does? I think someone hold me it can burn you 2 when you smoke it- is that true? Any info would be great as im very curious and cant find much about it on you tube etc

(im not curious to take it-i never would- Im just curious to know what it is as ive heard it mentioned alot lately)

Meth is a powerful stimulant, and extremely addictive. It is inexpensive because it can be made from common ingredients. Recipes vary, but if you want a general idea, just make a search for "how to make crystal meth"! Making the drug is even more dangerous than smoking it, and a house where meth has been made is considered contaminated. So people often make it in open fields; which goes to show how relatively easy it is.
Sometimes "good students" get into meth just to keep awake studying. But cases of becoming addicted over a long weekend are reported, and anybody who has used meth daily for a month is diagnosed as an addict.
It is apparently a lot of fun, being high on meth, and leads to a lot of risky behavior, and often unexpected violent behavior too. People are really impulsive on meth, and may do things from sex with strangers to murdering somebody who irritates them.

The drug produces long-term brain damage.
Of course, in the earlier stages it isn't so obvious, especially if the person is using it to keep up with school or work. But it is a short road to oblivion if continued.

I think I read in one of the papers that it is not only the most dangerous, but also the most addictive drug you can get. also maked you age a lot faster (I read this last year so I could be wrong)
