Pneumonomicroscopic silicovolcanoconiosis is, I believe, the longest word in the english language. I think it's a lung disease caused by inhalation of fine volcanic dust. It's long enough that I had to put a gap in the middle because yahoo tried to abbreviate it, like that maori word up there!
