No, a frontrunner is when you switch your favorite team to one that is winning. You're just a fan of a player, that's completely different.

No, it's completely different. Just because you have a favorite player does not make you a frontrunner. If you liked Boston now, St. Louis last year, and Chicago before that, then yes, you would be considered a frontrunner.

If you like the teams that have A-Rod, you cannot possibly be a frontrunner, because the teams he plays for are never in the front.
You just really like A-Rod, and it seems that people who have always liked him are the only ones that do nowadays.

Don't listen to them. Heck, there are few people who follow journeymen, no matter how good a guy Doug Mirabelli might be. Most people are fans of good players, because they (the players) are good at the game.
Just point out to people that you've always been a fan of A-Rod, and you aren't going to change now. People would say the same thing if you followed a particular team. Who cares?

You're a fan of Alex, pure and simple. That's what sports is all about. At least you're not a fickle-fan! If Alex was one of your detractor's brothers, would the brother stay with the old team when Alex moved? I'm in Philly - brotherly-love - nuff said. Wish we had T. O. back as despicable as he was, here. When you got a guy with talent, he can have a tail and horns personality-wise. Winning isn't everything. It's EVERYTHING! At least in the pros.

No. You are just an A-Rod fan, but when you start rooting for the team he plays for and the team is different every time, then you can consider yourself a bandwagon fan.

If your favorite team this year was Boston, and the year before St. Louis, and the year before that, Chicago White Sox, you would be a flaming front runner. You like A-Rod. That's just having a favorite player.

No, you are not a frontrunner if all that information about yourself is true.
