"And like a sinner before the gates of Heaven A-Rod will come crawling on back to the Bronx "
He may have to. He and his butt buddy Boras are taking a gamble that he'll get more money elsewhere. It's a gamble that he could lose-badly

No, he will never be a Yankee again. A-Rod left the Yankees. So if he came back, his contract offer would be cut in half or not less. Sadly though some dumb team will sign him for an outrageous amount of money. Remember when Barry Zito was signed for a huge contract? He did nothing. Neither will A-Rod

I think it is possible. From what I have been told, the Yankees are one of the top teams Arod wants to play for. I think he should have just stayed with that contract and got the extension. As of right now, however, it looks like the Yanks are worried about Posada and Rivera, plus another 3B like Cabera or maybe trade to get some pitching from Santana.

1. I doubt A- Rod will wear pinstripes at least for the next 5-6 years.
2- A-Rod left because he was criticized for a subpar playoff performance while most other players were praised regardless.
He was kind of shunned by the media and that shaped alot of fans perceptions of him.
Lets be honest he was the "golden boy of baseball" before heading to the Yankees and was vilified by fans of most teams for it
He was unsure of who the new manager would, while not knowing if other players on the team would return.
As a result A-Rod left. It can be traced back more to the firing of Joe Torre and him being unsure which of his teammates would return.

The Yankees are the best team in all of sports? Is that right? I guess flashing that Yankee pride has closed you off to the real possibility that they just may not be the best team in all of sports, after all.
But nice try, though...I bet Billy Crystal would buy that script from you and implement it into his next film project.

First he has to write a big fat 30mil dollar check to the yankees for opting out of his contract. This is how much money the yankees had to pay texas for this stunt. And don't be surprised if no one want's to take his contract,Bottom line is this,Arod has been on three team's and never one a ring! alot of these clubs have said this about him,,also alot of these clubs need pitching more then a 3rd baseman.Yankees should let him go,and spend the money on SANTANA!!

they are supposed to offer him a contract but a contract that he wont accept. cashman said that they were going to offer him a contract for 1 year with no trade clause which he knows that arod will reject. this is to get 2 draft picks either if he accepts or rejects it. if arod actually suprises the world and accept that contract then that will bring him back.

Well, the Mets wear pinstripes, the White Sox wear pinstripes, the Cubs, Rockies, Marlins, Astros, Twins, Phillies... so, yeah, it's possible.
