I just started taking loestrin 24, I take it perfectly. I was just wondering how many people have gotten pregnant using Loestrin 24 (taken perfectly or not dont matter). It seems like a fairly new BC plus it has the lowest hormones allowed so I just wanna know the effectiveness--and I wanna know from "real" people and their experiences, and not from the comanys studies, because alot of clinical studies are done with alot of bias in them.

I have been on Loestrin 24 for almost six months now
the first few months were really uncomfortable for me (mood swings, break outs, very heavy periods to very light periods) b/c i hadn't been on birth control in almost 10 years (I was on it hormones from the age 14-17)
I take the pill every single day at the same time- even the iron pills and I still managed to not get my period last month
I have taken an over the counter pregnancy test and two of them at my doctor's office- all three came out negative
starting next month, if i don't get my period again- i am switching to a different birth control

getting my period makes me feel like a woman and normal- not getting it makes me fearful, depressed and feel abnormal

i hope my information helps

Okay, isn't loestrin just a birth control pill? That's not really an effective method of birth control, taking it once after sex. Also, I thought it was a pill and not a drink. So, could you get pregnant? Yeah, it's possible. Go get the morning after pill if that's acceptable to you. And also, even though I agree with the grammar comment above, if you are going to insult someone else's intelligence, at least use proper spelling or you look like an idiot as well.

I've been taking it for almost a year, and I have had no problems. No crazy psychotic mood swings or funny cycles. I really prefer it to any other BC out there.

No pill is 100%
I think most state 99% and leave that 1% there for error.

**the Pill = up to 99% protection, relative to the type of Pill.

**Condom + the Pill = Ups the anti from Up to 99% and beyond, protecting against pregnancy AND STDs.

**Spermacide + Condom + the Pill = Heightens this figure by more.

**Abstinence = Outstanding Results.

**...and of course, a vasectomy (as with my husband's situation) makes sexual exploration ideal which dooms any chance of breeding, altogether.

Cheers :)
