talk to sumone on messenger and they will say something like "yeah, idk" and think...IDK?? whats that mean then get closer to your screen and glare, at the previous messeges, then look at the keyboard and think...whatt???
then realise what it means?

Sometimes. That's why I hate internet talk. You take the freaking first letter of every word you say. Then there is all this new stuff all the time, and it's like, "Man, it's worse than the division between British English and American English."

I can't stand it when people use the IDK or BFF junk online. I especially hate it when people use numbers that mean words like "2" instead of "to".
I'm only 34 years old, and I think that's immature...my sister is 9 years older than I am, and in her latest e-mail, she used an IDK...go figure.

I type in sentences pretty much all the time, the only thing I use is 'lol'. And so I really don't understand the 'lingo' very well... I always have to think about it.

i was reading a book and it had the abbreviations for some sayings and i could come up with omg and such the one that drove me nuts was imo i asked my daughter she didn't know so i went on google and put in texting abbr. and they have a whole list. in case your wondering imo is in my opinion.

lol maybe just you idk! I do hate it when people use an abbreviation that idk! yesterday someone said gtg and I was like "whatt??" lol but I figured it out soon enough!
