I agree that they are a lot of them but that doesnt mean we all are. I have happened to be a fan of all of the Boston teams during their good times and bad. Are you using that as an insult or something cause u got nothing better to come up with??

Because a large number of them are, not all though.

A HUGE number jumped on in 2004, and another large number hopped on this year.

Because they are. Just as there a bunch of Yankee bandwagon fans. It's not secret that fans come out of the woodworking when a team wins. Boston fans are no different. The loyal Boston fan is knowledgeable, dedicated and aware of the team history. Most of the bandwagon fans couldnt tell you who Tony C is. True sign of a bandwagoner? They say stuff like:

"Dustin Pedroia is a HOF player!"

These are people who just dont understand baseball, player careers and how the game evolves. That's not to say the guy doesnt have tremendous upside. But please. Let's not carve the plaque just yet. Same with Yankee fans and Melky. Or Rockie fans with whoever is on that team. You notice that teams like the Rockies have suddenly gotten a HUGE influx of fans? It isnt because people are dedicated to the game. That's for sure.

Bandwagon fans have always been around. But now they have a place to spew bandwagon loyalty. The internet. They serve a purpose. What it is I'll never know. Me? I've been a Yankee fan through some of the best and worst years. A few weeks ago I was in the grocery store wearing my Yankee hat. The butcher asked me if I was ashamed to wear it. I told him that I havent been ashamed to wear that hat since 1957, and that anyone who takes a team hat off when the team loses isnt a fan of baseball.

So there ya have it Red Sox bandwagoners. If the hat doesnt fit when they lose, you'll know who you are.

not all boston fans are bandwagon jumpers, and though i really dont like new englanders from everything ive ever heard they are great sports fans, for all their teams (except the whale i guess, but thats a different sport) the bandwagon jumpers are all those people everywhere else that suddenly decided they liked the pats, the sox, Boston College recently
the reason they became fans, is because those teams are winning
as a sports fan, i find it disgusting that a person could just sell their allegiance to a team based simply on the success of that team, be it the cowboys/49ers in the 80's the lakers/celtics/pistons the yankees, all very good examples
i myself like teams that play no where close to where i live, but im not a bandwagon jumper
favorite team is the angels, though i live in wisconsin, though i was born in cali, my dad was an angel fan since 1961(year of their inception) and ive liked them since i was old enough to know what the heck baseball was, ive cheered my team through the '82 meltdown to the brewers, the '86 meltdown to the bosox, '96 meltdown to seattle, and every miserable season in between, so i had every right in the world to jump for joy in '02 if you are a bosox fan and you didnt become one until '04 then quite frankly you are pathetic, and you have no right to call yourself a sox fan, those sox fans that suffered buckners bad play, or every other playoff and world series choke that team put you through, then you earned the right to cheer in '04
so if youve been a fan for a long time, youre ok buddy
if you started liking the boston teams in the last 3-4 years, then those people are talking about you, and you should shut up and realize they are right

For years, the Red Sox have drawn well. Fenway Park has been sold out for every game since mid 2002. The Patriots have sold out since Schaeffer Stadium days. The Bruins and Celtics sold out the old Garden for generations.
There is now perceptible phenomenon known as Red Sox Nation, and it can be seen in every ball park in the American League. Judging from conversations with others in Red Sox gear at other cities' parks, some are New England transplants and a significant number have never even been to Boston but have adopted the Red Sox as their team. Are they bandwagon jumpers or sincere converts?

Just like how someone would describe wealthy people in 2 classes...new money and old money, there are 2 classes of sports fans. The "new money" Boston fans seem to have sprouted up over the last 3-4 seasons...and most of them couldnt point out an old-school Pats logo if it was in front of their face. Or, they dont remember a time when there were no seats on the Green Monster.

Plus, it's easy to like Boston if you hate NY.

I'm a huge fan since the 70's when I was a kid. The diehards outnumber the bandwagoners, I think. A lot has to do with winning in 2004 and the fact that it's a big college town. It seems most of the ****** fans are bandwagoners.

a similar reason human beings recognize the Patriot followers are bandwagon followers. there have been very few Patriot followers at the same time as they sucked. without word they began prevailing and right here comes the Patriot u . s .. Be straightforward notwithstanding, the purely crew Boston cares about is the Sox. all of us else performs second mess round. yet I agree. multiple Laker followers are bandwagoners too, notwithstanding they have been for longer, at the same time as the Celtic one has basically began. notwithstanding it extremely is basically a demonstration that your crew is doing properly. Take it as a badge of honor that you've the bandwagon followers. if you're a real fan, it extremely is the purely way you could take it. till you're literally not and also you isn't round to help them at the same time as they are dropping. then you're component to the challenge.

Boston has great fans, it is just the people who jumped on because it was cool at the time that everyone has a problem with.

I always felt Boston fans were over bearing and boorish. Most Boston fans are very loyal though.

If you are planning to start on your woodworking project, this isn't something you should use, it's something that you would be insane not to. Go here https://tr.im/79slO
Truth is, I've been a carpenter for almost 36 years, and I haven't found anything like this for less than 10's of thousands of dollars.
