If I had a video clip in MPEG 2 format on my computer could I put it on my ipod classic and would it play on my ipod? thanks.

If it doesn't work, go to http://www.zamzar.com and convert it to mp4 form.
When they send you the link, press Download, Save, and save it somewhere. Then open iTunes and press File > Add File to Library.
