alone at the restroom. it`s embarassing. i wish i could do like some people who don`t give a heck and faart as much and as loud as they feel like.
last time it happened at Barnes and Noble.

Hollding gas in to the point of causing cramps is neither healthy nor required for proper etiquette. The bathroom is the place for such things. Try coughing or waiting until the bathroom is empty to exit the stall and leave the bathroom.

i know it's imbarrassing. what i have done before in the public bathroom, when your in a stall of course, take a massive amount of toilet paper and hold it over your bum while sitting on the toilet and try to let it out slowly, the t.p. muffles the sound some. sorry, wish i knew of a better way, hope this helps.

haha dont worry about it dude it happens to EVERYBODY sometimes. all you can do is try your hardest to hold it in, and if it comes out anyway, just laugh it off if anybody heard it. take full credit for it and be proud bc if you are embarrassed about it people will make fun of it.
and let me just say im loving R.Womack's answer thats great. i flush the toilet too.

If you are in the bathroom you can flush the toilet. My favorite is to cough loudly while passing gas and walk off.

If you are in the men's restroom you just fart loudly and say loudly with confidence "holy crap ~ that feels better".
