Independent types that stand up for themselves and don't bully others around. People that aren't materialistic or judgmental. People that can solve their own problems without the use of psychiatry, therapy, or counseling. People that don't blame their problems on others but are wise enough to take responsibility themselves. People that do not whine or suck up to get high up in the work place but actually earn it.

People who are trustworthy, loyal, kind and show respect to others. People who can stand up for themselves without pushing anyone else out of the way. People who have a drive but do things not just for self-gain but to benefit others as well. People who know how to love unconditionally and don't let the evils of the world turn them into someone else.
I think a good example would be to watch Home Makeover. Seeing the people on that show, both the families and the team, let me believe there really still are good people in the world. And my grandparents, they are the most wonderful people I have ever known.

Those who not only show respect and decency to others, but are able to give themselves the same respect. But, they are not snobby or stuck up by any means. Rather, they are very kind, lowly and able to accept the truth simply as it is...if this comment makes any sense. Sorry if I've stooped anyone. lol!!!!!

Those who help others and don't want the recognition, glory, reward or fame, be picking up a piece of paper a person drops to saving a life, and continue on with daily life.

Like:
Terry Waite (Church envoy)- Three years in captivity and still undaunted.
Anwah Sadat (Egyptian premier)- In the middle of a war, he flies to Israel (his country's enemy at the time) to talk peace - and succeeds too.
These people have not inspired revolutions, asked others to seek martyrdom in their causes, they have brought decency and saved lives.
