you have performed a "secure delete" of the hard drive contents and free space. A secure deletes, encrypts and overwrites all the information on magnetic media, thats your hard drive. Then deletes the information making it unreadable. It does this several times to make to make the information unreadable. The is the only method of data removal endorsed by the U.S. Dept of Defense.

Go grab the system cleaner CCLeaner from filehippo. Use the cleaners in there and also use the advanced features to purge the registry. (for XP not sure about VISTA)
If you are using IE7, then you can go to tolls and completely reset IE7 back to default. I do believe that also cleans the registry entries.
You could also use something like a tracks eraser program, but I believe most of those . I do not know of one particular one to suggest, search Yahoo or cnet for the answer to that.

How about erase the cookies but erase the history cause you might not know if other people have something to do with those cookies. Just go to tools on your menu bars and look for the delete browsing history...

if you knew it was going to be an issue why did you look at a "bad" site?
the only thing you can really do besides deleting history and cookies is to not go into those sites in the future.

use this one. --> http://gogodata.com/
Deletes everything from your pc/laptop & I believe even system registry files as well. You can also make any site hidden at the bottom of your screen in the task bar next to your clock. You can password block any site too plus it has a virus & spyware protector built into the toolbar. Very cool things to do with this. I use it to remote access secure government related content from my work server on my own personal laptop. One on my buddies from IT turned me onto it. Never had any problems with it.

The sites you visited are still in the System Registry files, so unless you delete all the keys in the System Registry or replace the hard drive, the evidence will still be there.

Honesty is everything. If your school learnt it, you need to say sorry or even receive punishment. Remember George Washington.
Never mind your school would not know it because you have clean it, unless your school got some special software to check it.
