My life has changed dramaticly in the last few days. I pray that people won't judge me for what I was before.
While I know it is impossible to erase the past, can it happen that people will forget it?

Debbi, don't worry what people think as "we" think always, we have the right to judge. I would like to leave my bad part of the past but whatever there is "in stall" for me, I will take on with pride! Congratulations to you !!!

People remember the past. Its always behind and we are slaves of it.
But is not that bad, having had a bad past doesn't mean that our present and future has to be this way, we learn from our history, our past and that what makes us individuals. We are nothing but memories because even the present will be a memory in a fraction of time; is this why rather than leaving our past behind we should be proud of where we are and what we have achieved through looking to our past. And yes, people will judge you, but they will anyway, it doesn't matter what your past was what matter is what you are. Your past just makes you stronger.

While you can't erase the past .....if you improve your present & future actions.....people will judge you by what you are doing now & in the future instead of talking about what you did in the past.....You will find that your actions will speak a lot louder than their words....

Yep. there will be a time where everyone (no matter who it is) will wish they could leave the past behind. So hang in there.

i wish i could. i did a lot of bad things to my bf and i hurt him so bad. i wish i could erase all of it but we are trying to get through it. its still hard for him because he forgave me but he still hasnt forgot and he still hurts
