it is interesting question and the most interesting thing is that one can not go to these countries even-though we claim that we have freedom in USA! it all depends on what you are looking for and/or what are your expectations! if you would like to go to high school for a diploma then Korea would be better and a lot more difficult since America's high school diploma isn't even accepted anywhere in the world. but if you are planning to receive higher education then you may want to hang around a while longer. your friend's expectations may differ from you and plus she knows the language and has a support system. i recommend traveling of any kind specially to a developing nation or some country that is so different. one thing you find out is that the resentments toward USA is not towards its people. they are great hosts ! if i could i would keep traveling and learning! peace

No, it's a total dictatorship. They need to bomb it and have the South Koreans move up there and breed so it can be Korea again.
The only decoration they can have in their houses are pictures of that dumbass 'leader'. Totally brainwashed

The people might be, but don't turn your back on the North Korean leaders.

Bon voyage, both of you. Report back to us in six months, if you can find a computer. If not, maybe you can smuggle a letter out.

If you like your government to control every part of your life, you don't want to think for yourself and you like depending on a corrupt government to provide for your basic needs, then yes it's wonderful.

LOL! Sure it's swell,if you don't mind being taken away in the night or starving in the street. You may never hear from your pal again. So don't get too close.
