I know of a uswer (wont give out her name) who has "quit" here atleast 5 times now!!!......but she always comes back for more.

I've thought about quitting when all those stupid people start sending the good askers & answerers off.
I feel like I've lost a lot of friends!
There are also times when all the questions seem really silly and pointless - but there is always time for a book then!

Yes ive quit Y!A nearly as many times as i've quit smoking......doing both again now, i quit for weeks and never came on once to check what my contacts where answering or asking. I quit cos i got sick and tired of Trolls and violations for nothing! Been back on for a couple of days but arent using it half as much as i used to.

Guilty , as charged.
i get accused of breaking Y/A rules. I argue, but no one takes any notice. I get mad and I quit.
I get bored and I take a peek. I find an interesting question, and I answer it and WHAD'YA KNOW? I am back on and involved again!
This is a worse addiction than smoking and. BOY, am I hooked!

I have--several times over. I come back for a bit then get tired of it again. I will admit that there were times I'd check up on people to see if they were still asking Qs.

they quit me twice suspending me
but now it it getting to tedious
the violation notices ,
the thought police
the public attitude molding.
the brainwashing
the preferred lies to truth
so i like so many other serious people are
thinking of leaving this rabble .
or at least are taking it less serious
the point system is worth less
because one can get eliminated at at time
by people who do not agree with you

I just take long breaks from this sometimes but I have never quit. I like it here.

Yes,I've quit several times.I've noticed that I always come back when I'm feeling stressed.I find it very therapeutic,like reading my books.
