Anyone got any clue about the process of doing driveways with exposed agregate?

I believe the process involves etching off the top layer of concrete using a acid.

In climates that see freezing temperatures, I am not sure if the exposed agragate is as durable, but it sure looks nice.

there is a retarder that you put on the wet concrete. then the next day you wash the top of with water wait a couple of mouths then seal with high gloss sealer. Will stand up in any climate. Good luck
