Just need to make sure since it's been one of those weeks for me where I've been wrong about everything I thought and I can't afford to mess this up. Thanks.

Kenny- Snowflake obsidian, for one, is coarse grained. I just need to be sure that terrestrial volcanic glass is mainly coarse grained.

Wrong. By definition if it is glass it does not have grains at all. Of course in the real world natural glass is usually "contaminated" with a few crystals. But what make a flow glass is that it solidifies before crystals start to grow.
