yes, they could and should face war crime trials, but their defense may be that they were duped by the neo-cons in the Office of Special Plans at the Pentagon which seems to be the source of all the bogus claims. That said it seems a much more plausible defense for Bush than for Cheney

Recall 9/11. A simple-minded oilman Bush was persuaded by scheming oilman Cheney that it would give U S a toe-hold in oil-rich middle east. Unfortunately, we're in up to our neck in s--t, with trillion-dollar cost and no end in sight. Russia and Iran are determined to force our failure, while Bin Laden is almost attaining the status of Mohammed. Bubba and Chain SHOULD be tried for war crimes, but even the Bush impeachment move, in respect to the faltering worldwide opinion of the office (Pres. of US), failed to materialize. Politics first, truth last.

Hello,,in the name of the new world order and to pad their own pocket with the blood money of Americans . they should be hanged just like they hung Saddam ,they are the same breed of men and deserve the same trials and tribulations, and the united states should freeze their bank accounts and had time to their punishment after their hangings just to make sure they feel the wrath of American justice. The presidents of this great country have lately been nothing but tyrants of political descent and democratic ways of cheat voting have made the way to care for the process unbearable to millions of Americans. The fact that NAFTA gives away the country to illegals who take that money out of the country is just crazy politics and willy Clinton and his wife have some soul searching to do but not in the white house.

Yes. In fact Dennis Kucenich has crafted such a bill for Cheney.
Only naive people think there will be any justice in this. Vietnam killed 55,000 Americans and 1 million Vietnamese because of the bogus "Gulf of Tonkin" incident.
Nothing happened to those monsters.

Cheney advised on his best info at the time. Most of the people running for President voted for that, as well. 911 was a good enough reason for me, and I don't think Cheney contived that.

Its all rididulous and has cost close to 4,000 American mens lives. What's this all for? OK - you hung the guy by rope -- Osama is still hiding out in the cave. The oil prices are climbing (3.20 reg as of today) - home price/selling off and will continue -- God help us if that lesbian touting pantsuit wins the white house //////////// think I will head for the border

I do not believe that Bush asked Cheney to do so. Cheney is way more intelligent than Bush and evil Cheney is the one who been running our country. Bush is only a puppet, a store window. Cheney is the store.

Yeah, they should be tried for sedition and treason but they won't be. The dems are too afraid of the backlash and the public calling them names, like liberals, and seriously losing in '08. As for, "Why did Bush have Cheney...? I'm not so sure it isn't the other way 'round. Have you heard about Cheney asking the Israelis to bomb Iran so that we could protect and support Israel in their military ventures?
