Do you find a need if you are a Christian to confront atheists or agnostics or other Faiths? If you are an atheist or agnostic, do you feel you need to confront Christians? Do we judge one another with our responses by the way we assume they are going to act or what they are going to say?

I dislike it that people don't believe in God... but I accept that it's their choice and I shouldn't judge them or confront them about it.

i do no longer in basic terms like the notice tolerant in this appreciate. You tolerate an itch or an irritant. You tolerate some thing you do in comparison to, yet have not any recourse yet to positioned up with. So I chosen to apply yet another notice right here. i'm a Christian and that i settle for and appreciate different peoples ideals or lack there of. I even have studied particularly some religions and comprehend adequate approximately them to comprehend what they are and characterize. I even have stumbled on that if take care of human beings and their ideals this way, they do the comparable for mine.

I am curious and willing to learn about how others believe. My belief system is going through a major overhaul right now so I would hope others would be just as considerate.
I am uncomfortable with close-minded individuals that do not allow for any questions pertaining to their faith or non-faith for that matter. Or want to cram their way of believing down your throat until you are suffocating!
I do my best not to judge others or allow my answers to swing in a direction that will incite anger knowingly. But I am human and my control slips from time to time!

Very tolerant...
What other choice do we have?
In my younger college days, I was arrogant enough to "challenge" and debate other's different religious concepts...but...
I quickly learned that trying to convince people that "being convinced something is true" is an entirely different animal than "everyone knowing it's true..."
Is downright frustrating...
But, alas...
Nobody seems to understand that...although YOU may know something...that doesn't MAKE what you KNOW true for everyone...
And I think it's downright silly that faith-based folks feel they have to deny established scientific facts because they feel these facts "cancel out" their beliefs, when in fact...they don't...
Why can't Religious people simply say..."Science is discovering the "facts" about God's creation..."
And "scientists" simply say that..."We cannot rule out the possibility of a "God" simply because there's no evidence for it..."
Simple...(meshes both doctrines pretty good, in my opinion.)

As a Christian, I am very tolerant of other religions. My only problem is when others are not tolerant of mine. I don't confront atheists, etc. about their religious beliefs.

I think that someone of faith who is judgement isn't really loving any God, but loving society and cultural standards.
Me personally, I don't feel like a judgemental person. I think as long as people are happy and trying to make a positive difference in the world, all is well. It's when people are selfish and greedy that I get offended.

I am very tolerant of others beliefs or lack of belief, I believe in living and let live. I only get upset when they intentionally make fun of my religion or try to stir up trouble with stupid and demeaning questions.

I am a quaker, so i think people should believe what they want to believe without being judged or confronted about their beliefs. i think people should be tolerant to others about what they believe. just because it's different doesn't mean it's wrong.

Organized religion is just ruining the world. Who cares what someone else's beliefs are. People need to also stop stereotyping people based on their religion.
