I like their culture, but stealing is not good.

I don't really know if it is a true tradtion or something they had to do in the past to survive.I live part-time in Eastern Europe where the locals are still afraid of Gypsies either living in their building or being in the neighborhood at all.
I have sympathy for most of them when I see people acting so hateful throwd them.
There is a Gypsy man who lives in our apt. in Europe, he belongs to a Gypsy band and i get to hear him practice his violin sometimes.He seems harmless but others stay away from him.
I once asked my husband why people are so against them and he said that being an American I would never understand and that I shouldn't ask such a question.Very strange reponse from my husband since he is usually very tolerant of others. It must be a very deep cultural thing.

I have been all over Europe, I am from Canada, and I am fortunate to travel often. I can 100% confirm that Gypsy's are the kings and queens of begging and stealing. If you deny this fact you are spreading propaganda or you are naive!

that is very rude to say all gypsy's steal.its like saying all black ppl are in gangs and shoot everyone.and also all italians are in the mafia.. and like say every mexican is scum its all stero-type's.thats why we are not know as a cultrure cuz we have to hide and lier are nationallity from ppl like you cuz all u think is that we steal....u need to stop being rascist
