I'm writing a paper from the point of view of a shoe, and I need some good puns. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't want to be in your shoes. (when you are in a difficult situation)

He has big shoes to fill. (when he is taking the place of someone who did a really good job, for example)

Walking down the road of life

The prayer, "Lord grant that I not criticize my neighbors until I have walked a mile in their shoes."

The poem "Footprints".

I hope this helps.

He's a shoe-in, one sure to get the job or win the prize.
She's as straight laced as they come.
He's a waste of good shoe leather.
She's as comfortable as a pair of old slippers.

Even Wellington got the boot.
