my friend was caught spray painting on a side walk on school property, and now she has to go to court tomorrow, and she doesnt have an attorney. When she talked to the DA, the DA said that the case wouldnt be dropped. Is there any way possible that she would be able to get a prayer for judgement,( she has a clean record) or do you think that its out of the question...please help. She's a college student, so im thinking that the court hears these types of cases all the time.

When she goes to court for her preliminary hearing, she should simply tell the judge that she doesn't have a lawyer, and can't afford one, and the court will appoint one for her. Then she should let her lawyer deals with the legal nuts and bolts, that's his job.
